2020 is Fake News

I hope you all got vacuum cleaners and Ferrero Rocher for Christmas.  Happy 2020, or 1924, or whatever you want to call it...it's Monday in the Midwest and I mostly just hope you're happy.

Anyhoo, I "rang in the new year" with sunburn, shrimp, and rum drinks.  I've since returned to reality, but I still have sand between my toes...underneath my socks...and shoes.  To commemorate the fantastic time I had beach bumming, and to offset my rediscovery of Indiana's annual "grey-look," I'll be posting sketches from my vacation for the remainder of January.

The little watercolor above is a pretty good representation of my time in the Sunshine State and features a common motif in my recent collection of watercolor, gouache, and ink drawings.  If you want to buy this little guy, or tomorrow's little guy, or the next thirty little guys, click HERE and leave me a message.

Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, doo-dun doo-doo, here comes the sun
And I say it's all right
