Seriously, I'm going to show you how to paint a fire hydrant with only thirty brushstrokes.  I mean, you don't have to paint the fire hydrant...you can paint a tree or whatever...but I'll paint the fire hydrant...and it's going to be awesome.

Each of these classes will focus on using plein air painting (painting outdoors from life) as a starting point in the pursuit of style and artistic vision.  We'll be using a variety of strategies to better understand how we see/interpret the landscape in an effort to paint beyond subject matter alone.  There should be plenty opportunities for laughter and shenanigans, in case you're into that sort of thing.
