On Saturday, September 19th, I'll be hosting a plein air painting workshop here in Bloomfield, Indiana. This one-day class will focus on working quickly and accurately on location as a means of sketching and producing finished paintings with style. We will be meeting at a beautiful farm with an abundance of subject matter, including: barns, farm machinery, animals, fruit trees, and quintessential Indiana landscape.
This workshop is appropriate for both novice and experienced painters. Supply lists will be provided to registered students, however, all color media is welcome. Lunch will be provided. We will begin the day with an 8am demonstration/Q&A and finish up around 6pm with a group critique and discussion. Local lodging options are available.
We will have access to a large interior space in case of inclement weather and to help facilitate social distancing during gatherings throughout the day. Masks will be required while indoors.
